I have been working professionally in the events industry for seven years but I got my first taste of being a DJ when I came up with the idea of party nights on campus when I was the Entertainment Officer for the Students’ Union at National Star College in Cheltenham.

The college was set in a lovely rural location but this meant students had to get a taxi into the nearest town for a night out. I decided it would be a much better idea to buy some equipment and create party nights on site.

Fortunately my entrepreneurial spirit and natural flair as a DJ proved a winning formula and I was soon putting on twice-weekly events!

At that point I hadn’t considered that this would become my chosen career.
After some time at university, I signed up for the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Course which gave me the business acumen I needed to start my own business. Having spent 16 years in Cheltenham, I decided to return home to Bromsgrove where I set up BJK Entertainment Limited.

Since 2013 I have been providing DJ services at all manner of events for individuals, big businesses and charities. It is a pleasure and a privilege to help people mark the milestones in their life and to bring joy to thousands.
